Important Information
Medical Details

Elite Energy events can be strenuous activities and therefore all participants must ensure that they are sufficiently fit, in good physical and mental health, and capable of participating in the Event without causing harm to themselves or others. We recommend you seek all necessary medical advice, recommendations and clearances before arriving at and participating in the event. Please also ensure you stay well hydrated in the days leading up to the event and throughout the course, apply sunscreen regularly, and take appropriate safety precautions on the day.

All participants must write their emergency contact details on the back of their race bib. This is a compulsory safety requirement.

Course Cut-Off Times
  • No cut off times; expected last athlete around 2:40pm
Medical & Emergency Procedures
  • Please write your emergency contact info on the back of your bib – it’s compulsory.
  • Follow the instructions of staff, volunteers and medical teams at all times
  • If you need to withdraw from the race you MUST tell a race official. This is so we don’t go searching for you later!
Are there any mandatory items?
  • Apart from the obvious bike and helmet, there are no mandatory items for this event. A wetsuit ruling will be announced the morning of the event. Please see AusTriathlon Rules for other requirements.
Conditions / Weather Plan
  • All participants are responsible for their own hydration, sun protection, and safety.
  • The event will run rain or shine. Athletes will be notified with any course or event changes.

Refund and Transfer Policy
  • All requests for refunds and transfers must be made in writing to office@eliteenergy.com.au
  • No transfers between athletes are permitted – be wary of people offering to sell you an entry
  • Please note: No refunds or transfers will be issued within 7 days of the event under any circumstances.

Do you have minimum ages for your events?

Super Sprint: Minimum age is 12 for individuals, or 11 for teams
Sprint: Minimum age is 14 for individuals or teams
Standard/Aquabike: Minimum age is 15 for individuals or 14 for teams

Race Pack Collection

Optional early race pack collection will be available on Friday afternoon as per the Event Schedule. There will be no bike racking available at early registration.

Race Day Race Pack Collection Times

Your race pack can be collected from the Registration Marquee before your race as per the Event Schedule.

Please bring your QR code or photo ID to collect your race pack. If you are an AusTriathlon member please also bring your membership card.

Merchandise
Included Merch

Athletes registered in the Standard or Sprint Distances will have the choice of a backpack, towel or drink bottle as an event souvenir.

Additional Merch

Event Tshirt, backpack, towel or drink bottle are available for purchase during registration.

Merch Collection

Included and Optional purchased merch can be collected at the Race Pack Collection (Registration) Tent at the Event Hub. Merchandise will not be posted to you prior to the event.

Getting to the Start Line / Event Day Transport

Event parking

There is no parking available in the Tomakin Club Car park for athletes. These spaces are reserved for Tomakin Club patrons ONLY. If parking in nearby streets, please follow all directions regarding parking restrictions. There is athlete parking available at Sunny Greenpatch Field (this will be controlled by a marshall), and there is also parking on the surrounding streets.

Bag Drop

A bag drop service will be available at the Event Hub. You will need to attach the bag tag provided on your race bib to your bag. The baggage tent will be staffed by volunteers for the duration of the event, however we recommend not leaving valuables in your bag.

Will there be a pre-event briefing?

Yes! Pre-event briefings will be held 15 minutes prior to your race start time.

Getting to Swim Start

After the compulsory race briefing at the main event site, a marshal will lead participants to the swim start. Please follow the marshal’s designated walking route and instructions at all times.

Aid Stations / Hydration / Toilets
  • Super Sprint/Try-A-Tri: There is one aid station on the run, at the turn around point.
  • Sprint: There are two aid stations on the run course, which you will pass three times at 1km, 2.5km (turnaround), and 4km.
  • Standard: There are two aid stations on the run course, which you will pass six times at 1km, 2.5km (turnaround), 4km, 6km, 4.5km (turnaround), and 9km.
  • Both water and Pure Electrolyte hydration will be available at both aid stations
  • A portaloo will be available at the aid station at the turnaround point, on George Bass Drive.
Transition

No bags are permitted in transition.

Helmets must be worn when entering transition.

Transition walk through/racking times will be posted on the schedule.

Bike pick up times will be posted on the schedule, however this will be at the discretion of the transition manager on the day to determine when is a safe and suitable time for you to collect your bike. Entry and Exit to the transition area for bike collection is via the designated entry and exit points ONLY. Please be patient as there may still be races in progress when you wish to collect your bike.

Will there be pacers?

No, unfortunately there are no pacers for this event

Age determination is as of 31 December 2025.

Age Group Podium Medals / Finisher Medals

1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age category will receive a podium medal. Finisher medals are not given to athletes at the finish line, however if you wish to purchase a finisher medal following the event, please contact office@eliteenergy.com.au.

Is there medal engraving?

No, unfortunately we don’t offer a medal engraving service

Photos

If you pre-purchased a race day photo package with your entry, your personal link will be sent to you after the race. If you haven’t pre-purchased your race day photos, they can be accessed through our official photography partner here: FinisherPix

Sustainability & Community

We use reusable BibSNAPs at our events to reduce landfill waste. You can find out more here. BibSNAPs can be purchased with your entry, or added at a later date by logging in to your Race Roster account, navigating to the dashboard and clicking on the event store.

We make an effort to minimise the impacts of our event on the local community. You can find out more about our road closures here

We are aiming to reduce the number of single-use cups at our events. Bringing your own cup, flask or bottle is a great way to help with this

Don’t litter! We want to leave this beautiful place in the same pristine condition we found it, so please use the bins on course or carry your rubbish with you (that means gel packets too!)
