Elite Energy


The Batemans Bay Ultimate Triathlon features a challenging course taking you through 2km of the Tomaga River, then onto a 60km bike leg where you’ll familiarise yourself with some of the best terrain on the south coast. Following is the 15km run through Tomakin.


swim 2km

Starting at the Tomakin Beach, competitors will swim 2 laps of a box shape course, then exit the water for a short beach run; joining onto the Tomago River and then swimming to Transition.


bike 60km

A 3 Lap course. The fast straights of George Bass Drive will allow athletes to dial in and crank out the watts.


run 15km

Once you're back in Tomakin, make your way along the scenic run course through the amazing surrounds of Tomakin, with barely as much as a small rise this 3 lap course will see the action heat up on the run home to victory alley..

Event Information

Pre-Event information
  • All our Events are governed by Triathlon Australia Policy and Rules. Full details can be accessed as follows:
  • The Competitor Categories are as follows:
    • 18-19;20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
    • Male, Female & Mixed teams, Clydesdale & Athenas will be recognised on the podium and then we have ‘Race Ya Mate’ which has no podium prizes.
    • Age determination is as of 31st December 2019
    • MINIMUM AGE – Individual – 18 years at 31st December 2019
    • MINIMUM AGE – team member (one leg of team) – 17 years at 31st December 2019. There is NO leeway on this.

  • How do I avoid paying the One Day License?
    • The One Day License fee is payable by Non Triathlon Australia Annual Members only, as your membership to Triathlon Australia saves you this payment. It does however take up to 24 hours for your details to link to the Elite Energy database. This means that access to member pricing (and avoiding paying a one day licence (ODL) fee) will be available to you from 10am the day after you joined your club/TA. If you find that you are joining on the day that entries close, or wish to enter to avoid a price bump, simply enter and pay the ODL; then send the details to Triathlon NSW and they will  get a refund of the ODL to you ASAP.
On Event Day
  • Collection of your Registration pack is compulsory for all individuals Entrants and only 1 representative from a team.
  • These can be collected from the Registration Marquee
  • Please check the event schedule for registration and transition opening times
  • Please bring Personal ID, TA membership if applicable
  • Junior athletes please bring your parent or guardian along with you
Presentation & Prizes
  • Please check the event schedule for the times
  • All place getters (1st, 2nd & 3rd)
Race Results
  • Can be accessed via the Results link at the top of the page
  • Results will be uploaded as soon as possible after the completion of the event
