Overview

New name. New distance. Same unforgettable event.

Western Sydney Lakes Marathon (formerly Run Western Sydney) lands at the iconic Sydney International Regatta Centre on Saturday 21 November, 2026!

Bringing big race-day energy, there’s a distance for every runner. Chase a PB in the fast and flat 10km, 5km or 2km, or step up to the half marathon or Western Sydney’s only marathon, where a unique mix of paved sections and trail deliver a rewarding challenge.

Western Sydney Lakes is entering its next phase of renewal, transforming into a major destination for Western Sydney.

Pins are so last season.

From now on, it’s snap on, race on. Elite Energy will be pin-free by 2026 – because we’re serious about reducing waste.

  • Grab a set of BibSnaps during your entry or online.
  • Or pick some up at the event.
  • Or bring your own pins ( if you must… but we know you can do better ).

They’re reusable, easy to use, and built to go the distance.
Do the planet a favour – snap to it.
