TriSeries “Multi Race Discount” Information

This will provide you the option to not only choose the Event but your choice of distances from those listed as part of the triSeries below.

The following will apply…

  • Selection of a variation of Distances is allowed, e.g. 3 Enticers, 3 Enforcers, 2 Sprint & 2 Standard for a total of 10 Races. (This flexibility allows you to build up your distances over the season.)
  • Purchase of the “Multi Race Discount” pass, irrespective of the number of Events selected, must be submitted by the Late Entry close for the third last event within the series
  • The number of Events selected by the noted date will determine the percentage discounted
  • All entries and passes are non-refundable and non-transferable
  • Additional Events entered after this date will not have any discount applied
  • Junior Athletes (i.e. under 16 years old) cannot compete in more than one event, within a 24 hour period
  • On completion of registration for a ‘Multi Race Discount’ Pass, the athlete noted will automatically be entered into those races that have been selected
  • Series Passes are available for both Annual Triathlon Australia Members and Non-Members
  • This is ALSO applicable to all Junior participants

Please note that when applying for this type of pass, in most cases it is more economical to become a Member of Triathlon Australia and your local Triathlon Club.

triSeries “Multi Race Discount” Structure

The following discount options are in place:

  • 7 or more Events selected will receive a 20% discount
  • 5 or more Events selected will receive a 15% discount
  • 3 or more Events selected will received a 10% discount

Simply, the more events you register for on one transaction, the greater the savings you make!

triSeries “Multi Race Discount” – How to. . .

The generation of a “Multi-Race Discount”is achieved once you have accessed our ‘Registration’ system and occurs in the following way:

  1. Select the “Register Now” button on any one of the triSeries event pages
  2. You will be taken into a new web page and the ‘Register Now’ application
  3. Make selection options against the first two questions
  4. All Events within the Series will then be presented for your selection
  5. On the next page, the athletes details will be requested
  6. The following page will provide a full list of the Events you have selected
  7. Against each Event, select your preferred choice:
    1. the Distance you wish to enter
    2. then the Age Group option will be presented (i.e. Age group, Race Ya Mates etc)
  8. The following pages will cover general information needs
  9. This will then present you with a detailed Transaction Summary page, with the relevant discount percentages detailed and the final cost
  10. This is followed by a Payment page

These Events will be conducted by Elite Energy Events for those athletes developing in the sport, across NSW and the ACT.

The Junior Series will be applied to all the Event distance reflective of the following age categories:

  • 12-13, 14-15, 16-19 age groupings in the Super Sprint (Enticer) distance triathlon
  • 14-15, 16-19 age groupings in the Sprint distance triathlon
  • 15-19 age grouping in the Standard distance triathlon

There are 9 different locations in the triSeries race calendar on offer where you can earn points towards the triSeries point score. The structure of the Point Score for both the triSeries & Junior State Series will become a simple “accumulative total” of all your points achieved by a Top 10 place, and then 2 points for every finishing athlete there after. The following table displays the point allocation to be applied:

  • 20 points – 1st Place
  • 18 points – 2nd Place
  • 16 points – 3rd Place
  • 14 Points – 4th Place
  • 13 Points – 5th Place
  • 12 Points – 6th Place
  • 11 Points – 7th Place
  • 10 Points – 8th Place
  • 9 Points – 9th Place
  • 8 Points – 10th Place
  • 2 Points – All remaining finishers

Points are eligible for those competing in Standard, Sprint, Enforcer and Enticer distances.

The 2017-18 events that comprise the TRISERIES is:

  • Husky 1 – “Little Husky”
  • Forster
  • Wyong
  • Callala
  • Nowra
  • Canberra
  • Wollongong
  • Batemans Bay
  • Port Stephens

There are free entries awarded to the top three place getters in each age group triseries pointscore (as per below) and this year we are introducing the Athena and Clydesdale categories into the point score.

  • 1st place – 3 entries *
  • 2nd place – 2 entries *
  • 3rd place – 1 entry *

* Entry equal to distance of pointscore win (ie. Sprint wins Sprint entry early bird pricing value)

Competitors must ensure they enter the same category with each registration to accumulate series points and must race a minimum of 3 races to be eligible. Competitors are only eligible to win in one category.

All athletes MUST compete and comply with Triathlon Australia Rules & Regulations

Event distances will be:

  • Swim – 1.5km
  • Bike – 40km
  • Run – 10km

The Individual ‘Male & Female’ Age Group formats for the relevant Series are as follows:

  • Elite/Open
  • 16-19 Junior Series
  • 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

We also offer the Clydesdale (males 100kg +), Athena (females 80kg +) start waves & Race Ya Mate, but the latter has no podium prizes, only bragging rights!

Team options are also on offer for:

  • All Male
  • All Female
  • Mixed

Athlete Age Group is determined as of 31st December 2017

Any athlete can enter the ELITE/OPEN category, however, they will only be eligible for awards, placings and selection in that category ONLY

All athletes MUST compete and comply with Triathlon Australia Rules & Regulations

Event distances will be:

  • Swim – 750m
  • Bike – 20km
  • Run – 5km

The Individual ‘Male & Female’ Age Group formats for the relevant Series are as follows:

  • 14-15, 16-19 (Junior Series)
  • 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

We also offer the Clydesdale (males 100kg +), Athena (females 80kg +) start waves & Race Ya Mate, but the latter has no podium prizes, just bragging rights!

Team options are also on offer for:

  • All Male
  • All Female
  • Mixed

Athlete Age Group is determined as of 31st December 2017

  • Swim – 200m
  • Bike – 7.5-10km (this is dependant on the location)
  • Run – 2km

The Individual ‘Male & Female’ Age Group formats for the relevant Series are as follows:

  • 12-13, 14-15, 16-19 (Junior Series)
  • 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

We also offer the Clydesdale (males 100kg +), Athena (females 80kg +) start waves & Race Ya Mates but the latter has no podium prizes, just bragging rights!

Team options are also on offer for:

  • All Male
  • All Female
  • Mixed
