Services Provided

Water
WATER IS LIMITED AT THE VENUE, PLEASE BRING PLENTY. As with most of these extreme events, YOU NEED HYDRATING. This event is no different. There are NO fresh water taps on site at this venue, and limited water will be provided. Therefore we ask if you could bring water / fluid (non alcoholic for the race) with you, just in case.

Nutrition
Hammer (www.hammernutrition.com.au) is our Official Event Supplier and their product (HEED – High Electrolyte Energy Drink) will be available FREE of CHARGE for bidon refills throughout the entire event. During the events, shaded tables will be set up to place you own nutrition on or an area will be allocated to have your "loved ones" assist with you nutritional top-ups.

Mechanics / Repairs
No doubt you may require some mechanical assistance throughout the event. We are extremely pleased to have onboard the mechanical team from SHIMANO & JET BLACK who will be there to assist you throughout the entire event. These guys are there for you so please treat them as such and remember to support those who support YOU.

Results
Full official results will be available online within 12 hours of the event finishing and results will be available for viewing at the venue on completion of presentation. Throughout the event, riders will be able to view their lap times and progress instantly on our BIG SCREENS.

Camping
Camping at this venue will be provided at $5.00 per person. As you arrive, a marshal will direct you to an area allocated to park and set up camp. Once you set up camp (on Sat) wander down to the Rego Shack, pay your $5.00 per person and you will be given a Camping Wrist Band to wear for the weekend. During the weekend, our resident Ranger "Smokey Bear" will wander thru the camp site searching for Camp Wrist Band-less Campers to pounce on for payment. We ask that you take into consideration others and do not use up too much space. For the safety of riders, spectators etc we ask that once you park your vehicle, and set up that you do not move you vehicle until completion of the entire event. If you are intending to "go into town" or you know you will need to use your car during the event, please "set up camp" and then park in the allocated public car parking area.

Parking
If you are coming to the event, just for the day, and NOT camping, we have allocated a separate area for your parking. This will reduce the flow of traffic within the camping area. Please follow the signs and marshals.

Pets
Although we all have our own pets in life (human or non-human), this venue needs to be PET FREE. So we ask you leave your dog, cat, budgie, gold fish, etc at home or if you need a Pet Motel, there is one about 4 km from the race site (TRUE)

Camp Fires
Unless there is a FIRE BAN, we will have a number of bins placed around the Camp Site that you are free to "flash up". So bring your uggies, marshmallows, and the geeetar and enjoy the tranquil night together.

Rubbish
Bins will be situated throughout the course and as with this eco friendly sport, we ALWAYS want to leave the venue the way we found it. Would appreciate you taking home "most" of your "own" rubbish.

Massage
We are "trying" to have FREE massage for the Sunday events – TBC (any volunteers out there)

Food & Drink
As per the event schedule, the local canteen will operate for the majority of the event. We will also have the obligatory "Coffee Cart" for that extra lift during the weekend.

Bike Wash
At home after the event

Showers
No shower facilities at this venue unfortunately, so you can bring your camp shower and hang it from a tree and enjoy the tinkling feeling of brisk water running ……………. we'll stop there (and ya gotta wear clothes while showering in a public place).

Toilets
mmmmmmm! Porta Loos at events. There are limited flushing toilets at this venue so we will have the luxury of having Portable Toilets to utilise. Depending on final numbers, the weather conditions and wind direction is to how often we have these exchanged.

Event Memories
Photos: Throughout the event we will have a number of "on course" photographers. These guys are there to capture all the glory, the action, the excitement, and the "mud, sweat & tears". When you see them, give a smile (or a grimace) and within 24 hours of the event completion you will be able to see all these "smiles and attitudes" online thru our web page.
