The Great Lakes International Triathlon Association (GLITA) is a community-based, not-for-profit organisation that was established in 1985. GLITA also manages the Great Lakes Sports Foundation, which was established in 2000 to promote the development of emerging sports and sports participation in the Great Lakes, and to financially support talented sports people in the achievement of their goals. |
