After an amazing response to the Wyong Triathlon Festival last season, it returns for it’s second season in 2016.
Located just north of the Central Coast, Wyong is set to shine as we welcome hundreds of triathletes to the town for the fourth triseries race of the 2015/16 season.

Event HQ is located at MacKenzie Reserve, Cnr of Weemala and Lake Street, Budgewoi.
From Sydney – Wyong is about a 90min drive. There is also public transport options.
The quickest route to Wyong from the South is by getting on the Lane Cove Tunnel (Epping/Windsor) and heading north.
Exit off to Hornsby/Sydney/Pacific Highway/North Coast and then take the exit to Pacific Highway (A1).
You will need to merge onto the Pacific Motorway for close to 60km before taking the exit for Pacific Highway Ourimbah/Palmdale/State Route 83.
From Newcastle – leave your self a bit over an hour to get to Wyong.
You will need to get onto the Newcastle Link Road/A15 and continue onto the Hunter Express/M15 which will take you to the exit to Route 1/Toronto/Sydney and merge onto the Pacific Highway heading south.
After about 5okm on this highway, keep an eye out as you need to take the exit to toward Wyong/The Entrance.
On the 14th November 2015, Budgewoi and surrounds will host the ‘WYONG’ Triathlon Festival. The Festival is being organised by Elite Energy Pty Ltd and is supported by Wyong Shire Council, NSW Police, Triathlon Australia, the Corporate Industry, Local Businesses and many Not-for-Profit Community Groups.
Event Details – Saturday 14th November 2015 – There will be five triathlons, an Standard distance, a Sprint distance triathlon, an Enforcer distance, an Enticer (beginners) and Try A Tri triathlons.
The first event will start at 7:00am and the last will finish at 3:00pm (approx).
1. Road Closure (emergency & official vehicles exempt and limited local resident access only) of Weemala St & Lake St from Bato St through to Ocean St from 6:45am – 3:30pm (approx.)
2. Road Closure of Elizabeth Bay Dr from Weemala St to Leslie Ave from 6:45am – 3:00pm (approx.)
3. Road Closure of Elizabeth Bay Dr from Weemala St to Rosemount Ave from 6:45am – 12:00pm (approx.)
4. Road Closure of Bato St from Minosa Rd to Weemala St, 6:45am – 3:00pm (approx.)
5. No Parking of Elizabeth Bay Dr from Leslie Ave to Rosemount Ave from 6:45am – 12:00pm (approx.)
6. Speed reduction to 60kmh to be implemented on entire cycle course wherever the posted speed limit exceeds 60kmh.
A Detour via Pacific Hwy will be implemented for the Elizabeth Bay Drive Road Closure.
Note: There will be periods during the triathlons when there will be no competitors on Elizabeth Bay Dr. Residents requiring access to this street will, under the direction of traffic controllers, be allowed to travel along Elizabeth Bay Dr during the following times, 9:30am-10:00am, 11:30am-12:00noon, 1:15pm-2:00pm.
