Super Sprint (Enticer)

The Super Sprint (Enticer) is an event for everyone. The very achievable distances lend themselves to those that want to “give triathlon a go” and to those that want to race a “super short and super fast” distance. Race in a supportive atmosphere amongst other like minded people and become part of the thrill and excitement of triathlon racing whilst gaining the absolute joy and pride that comes with accomplishing a personal goal.

Flippers will be permitted for this event, but podium medals will not be awarded to these entrants.

swim 200m

The swim course will be in the clear water of White Sands Beach, Huskisson. The course layout will be set on the day according to the sea and weather conditions.

bike 8km

Competitors will commence the bike course at White Sands Park. After exiting the water, competitors will run up the steps and continue to the Transition Area where they will change into their appropriate cycling attire. They will push their own bicycle to the road way and commence the cycle leg at the appropriate official start line marked on Bowen St. Competitors will mount their bicycle and head towards the shops. They will turn LEFT into Owen St and continue to the Sydney St intersection and turn RIGHT onto Sydney St. Competitors will proceed along Sydney St and then turn right into Wollamia Rd and continue till the turning marker at the Streamside/Willaford intersection, and return along the same route until the Hawke St / Bowen St intersection is reached. At that intersection the competitors will turn LEFT into Bowen St and then to the transition area at the White Sands Park, where they dismount their bikes and commence the run leg.

run 2km

The run course will be a 1 lap commencing at White Sands Park. Competitors commence the run by running out of the transition area and turning RIGHT onto cycleway. Competitors will then proceed along cycleway following the directional arrows and then turn around at the run point marked ENTICER TURN HERE for the return leg to the finish arch.
