Elite Energy

Overview

The triCallala Triathlon Festival event is much loved by those who know this as the “Boutique Triathlon”. Set on the northern shores of Jervis Bay, Callala Beach is a pristine location with a laid back feel. For the first time, the Ultimate Triathlon event will be part of the triCallala Triathlon Festival. Get in early as there is limited space and join Elite Energy this December for a hit before the Santa season kicks in.

The secluded shores of Callala Beach are the perfect location for this 1.9 kilometre swim where athletes will complete a rectangular shaped course. Athletes will then mount their bikes and head out on a 90 kilometre ride through the surrounding region lined by the breathtaking Jervis Bay National Park. Once off the bike participants head out on a 21.1 kilometre mostly flat run finishing back at quaint township of Callala Beach.

Along with the try-a-triathlon, Kids Miniman, Enticer, Sprint, Enforcer and Club distance events – there’s something for all ages and motivations!

Getting there

Event Central is at the Callala Beach Community Hall and Car Park: Cnr of Quay Road and Centre St in Callala Beach.

Coming south from Sydney, you will need to find the M1 and make your way towards Nowra.

Being mindful of the increasing amount of ‘road works’ occurring around the Berry township, allow for extra travel time and even plan a break in either Kiama or Berry itself or if you can last, Nowra itself.

Then, once you have made your way thru Nowra, about 10k further south you are looking for the left turn onto Forest Road. Be mindful that this road will close at 7:30am so plan extra time to take the detoured route which is via Greenwell Point Road.

Taking this, about 3k later you then have a right turn on Callala Beach Rd .  This will take you into the township and onto your required destination of the Community Hall found at the end of Centre St.

Please note the road closure times of Forest Road (where the bike course takes place for most races) and that alternative access is via Greenwell Point Road. See best access routes here.

Best parking options are also listed here.
